Bill Summary
Rep. Paul Cutler presented the bill with the assistance of Mike Rapich, Colonel, Department of Public Safety. A handout was provided.
Ryan Robinson, West Valley City Prosecutor and representing Statewide Association of Prosecutors (SWAP), answered questions from the committee and spoke in support of the bill.
Will Carlson, Chief Policy Advisor, Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office, spoke in support of the bill.
Daniel Strong, Director, Sentencing Commission, spoke in support of the bill.

30         domestic violence offense from the justice court to the district court, is repealed on July 1,

32                 (4) Section 78B-4-518, regarding the limitation on employer liability for an employee
33         convicted of an offense, is repealed on July 1, 2025.
