1.Call to Order/Approval of Minutes
Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:10 PM and excused Sen. Stevenson from the meeting. He then stated that the committee would wait to approve the minutes from the last meeting until a quorum was achieved.
2.Requests for Appropriation

Representative Thomas Peterson requested that the request be held and addressed in the interim.

Representative Ballard, Mike Busticker, Military Veteran, and Matthew Hill, Combat Veteran, presented the request for appropriation for Best Defense Foundation.

Rep. Dailey-Provost provided comment.
Rep. Ballard and Nik Pino, Military Veteran, further presented the request.
Rep. Dailey-Provost asked whether the funding being requested would be one-time or ongoing. Rep. Ballard responded.

Senator McKell and Representative Watkins, Co-Chairs, and Representative Thomas Peterson, House Vice Chair, presented the report. Gary Syphus, Finance Manager, Office of the Legislative Fiscal Analyst (LFA), Andrea Wilko, and Nate Osborne, Financial Analyst, LFA, provided assistance.
