3.Water Update
Candice Hasenyager, Director, Division of Water Resources, gave a presentation on the state's water supply and water conditions accross the state.
The committee asked questions of Candice Hasenyager.
4.Great Salt Lake Basin Integrated Plan
Candice Hasenyager gave a presentation on the current status of the Great Salt Lake Basin Integrated Plan.

5.E-Waste Recycling
Sen. Kennedy introduced the issue of E-Waste Recycling.
H. Craig Hall, Sr. Counsel, Northern Utah Environmental Resource Agency, spoke on e-waste issues affecting landfills in the state.
Jaren Scott, Executive Director, Trans-Jordan Cities, gave a presentation on e-waste recycling issues affecting the Trans-Jordan Landfill.
The committee asked question of Craig Hall, Jaren Scott and Sen. Kennedy.
Jodi Hart, Consumer Technology Association, described the ongoing efforts being made by certain private parties to address the need for E-Waste recycling.
Dave Davis, President, Utah Retail Merchants Association, described the efforts being made by certain private parties to address the need for e-waste recycling and gave suggestions on how e-waste recycling in the state be done.
Sen. Kennedy gave closing remarks and requested that the committee further study the issue of e-waste recycling.
6.Air Quality
Bryce Bird, Director, Division of Air Quality, presented on the state's air quality challenges, including the challenges related to meeting the summertime ozone standard.

7.Sunset Review: Livestock Brand Board
Patricia Owen, staff, presented on the Livestock Brand Board.
Leann Hunting, Director, Animal Industry Division, Utah Department of Agriculture and Food, presented on what the Livestock Brand Board has accomplished and spoke in favor of extending the sunset date of the brand board.
The committee asked questions of Leann Hunting.
MOTION:Rep. Albrecht moved to open a committee bill file to extend the sunset date of the Livestock Brand Board to July 1, 2035. The motion passed with a vote of 16-0-3.

8.Sunset Review: Provo Canyon Resource Management Plan
Ryan Williams, staff, presented on the Provo Canyon Resource Management Plan.
Redge Johnson, Director, Public Lands Policy Coordinating Office, presented on the status of the Provo Canyon Resource Management Plan and asked the committee to extend the sunset date by one year.
The committee asked question of Redge Johnson.
MOTION:Rep. Chew moved to open a committee bill file to extend the sunset date of the Provo Canyon Resource Management Plan to July 1, 2027.The motion passed with a vote of 15-0-4.
