Chair Burton called the meeting to order at 1:08 p.m. |
Chair Burton introduced Shad Larson, Associate General Counsel, Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel, and welcomed him as the newly appointed staff attorney to the commission. |
Chair Burton recognized Jared Haines, who who has served as a commission member for many years and will be retiring soon. |
Chair Burton also introduced David Busk from the Department of Workforce Services, as a new member of the commission. |

General Smith gave a presentation on the Great Salt Lake Sentinel Landscape project and efforts to create a holistic approach and strike a balance between the military, ecological, and civil community needs of the Great Salt Lake area. |
