MOTION:Rep. Birkeland moved to favorably recommend 2025FL0454v007 "Child Abuse Amendments" as a committee bill file.
Discussion to the motion.
SUBSTITUTE MOTION:Rep. Abbott made a substitute motion to make this a committee bill file and to favorably recommend the bill at a later committee meeting.The substitute motion passed with a vote of 14-0-3.

MOTION:Rep. Rohner moved to open a bill file that addresses the integrity of prosecutorial investigations and ensures that district attorneys and prosecutors follow state laws.
SUBSTITUTE MOTION:Rep. Lisonbee moved to create a short-term working group to address Mr. Bullock's issue.The substitute motion passed with a vote of 12-0-5.
