Chair Hinkins called the meeting to order at 8:03 a.m.

Chair Hinkins asked about registration of boats, and Jason Curry responded.
Rep. Albrecht suggested the division officers work closely with rural county sheriffs, and Jason Curry responded.
Chair Hinkins asked about having a ranger on the west side of Flaming Gorge, and Jason Curry responded.
Sen. Stevenson inquired about the ownership of the housing on Antelope Island, and Jason Curry responded.
Rep. Albrecht asked about funding, and Jason Curry responded.
Rep. Snider asked about costs to build ranger housing, and Jason Curry responded.
Rep. Chew commented on costs.
Chair Hinkins mentioned concerns about boat storage near Soldier Hollow, and Jason Curry responded.

Rep. Chew complimented the quality of restroom facilities at state parks, and Scott Strong responded.

MOTION:Rep. Chew moved to approve the January 23, 2025 minutes.The motion passed with a vote of 13-0-4.

Rep. Nguyen asked about allocation of funds for endangered species preservation, and Riley Peck responded.
Sen. Sandall mentioned a concern of farmers and ranchers, and Riley Peck responded.
Rep. Barlow commented on funding, and Riley Peck responded.
Sen. Winterton commented on the endangered species list, and Chair Hinkins responded.
