|
Julianne Ehlers, resident, urged the committee to support funding for the Public Emergency Health Program. |
|
Kate Morrison, Maxim Healthcare Services, requested funding for the Home Health and PDN Budget. |
|
Sue Olsen, resident, spoke in support of funding Baby Watch. |
|
Crystal Ghica, Director, Early Intervention Program for Southern Utah, advocated funding Baby Watch. |
|
Rep. Peck asked if care is done in the home, and Crystal Ghica responded. |
|
Katelyn Johnson, resident, spoke about the importance of Baby Watch, and encouraged funding for the program. |
|
Sen. Plumb commented on the difference Baby Watch makes in preventing expensive health problems in the future. |
|
Hillary Clark, resident, spoke in support of funding the DPSD Waitlist, noting that her son has been on the waitlist for six years. |
|
Rep. Clancy commented that Hillary Clark should be wearing a super hero cape, and asked what the financial impact would be for her family if her son were taken off the waitlist, and Hillary Clark responded. |
|
Sen. Balderee spoke about the importance of funding the DSPD Waitlist. |
|
Rep. Fiefia thanked Hillary Clark for sharing her story and asked staff what the average wait time is, and Kevin Edminster responded. |
|
Rep. Ward gave additional information on the waitlist. |
|
Sen. Weiler added information on the waitlist. |
|
Chair Stratton expressed emotional thanks to Hillary Clark and her two sons, who help care for their brother, saying they were angels ministering to an angel. |
|
Christine Humphrey, resident, urged the committee to fund DSPD Waitlist, and told the story of her grandson. |

|
Rep. Peck asked for additional information on the possible motions, and Sean Faherty responded. |
