Introduction of the Commissioners.
MOTION:Commissioner Jones moved to approve the minutes of the August 19, 2024, meeting.The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-3.

MOTION:Commissioner Hillyard moved to have Judge Michael J. Wilkins continue as chair of the commission.The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-3.

2.Review of Uniform Law Commission Acts Approved in 2024 and 2025 Annual Meetings
Commissioners provided updates to the Acts approved during the 2024 and 2025 annual meetings.
Libby Snyder, Special Counsel, Uniform Law Commission, provided additional information.
3.Discussion of Potential Recommendations that the Legislature Consider the Adoption of Particular Uniform Acts
3 - ULC Legislative Planning Form
The Commission discussed items and Libby Snyder and Commissioner Owen went through recommendations from the Uniform Law Commission of the following uniform acts Utah could consider during the 2026 General Session:
Judicial Interview of Children Act
Antitrust Pre-Merger Notification Act
Assignment for Benefit of Creditors Act
Model State Uniform Law Commission Act
Community Property Disposition at Death Act
Telehealth Act
Civil Remedies for Unauthorized Disclosure of Intimate Images Act
Electronic Estate Planning Documents Act
Danny Fein, Park City Attorney, spoke in favor of the Uniform Electronic Estate Planning Documents Act.
4.Planning for 2027 Annual Meeting
Commissioners discussed updates to the 2027 national meeting.
5.Other Items/Adjourn
Libby Snyder gave an update on an issue.
Meg Holbrok, Senior Vice President, Zions Bank, gave a statement regarding a uniform law.
MOTION:Commissioner Hillyard moved to adjourn.The motion passed with a vote of 6-0-2.
