Carlos Braceras, Executive Director, Utah Department of Transportation, further clarified the bill.
Cameron Diehl, Utah League of Cities and Towns, spoke to the bill.
Andrew Gruber, Wasatch Front Regional Council, spoke in favor of the bill.
Mary Catherine Perry, the Utah Chamber, spoke in favor of the bill.
Jay Fox provided more information to the committee.
Norm Blessant, Amalgamated Transit Union, spoke to the bill.
MOTION:Rep. Defay moved to replace SB0197 with SB0197S01.The motion passed with a vote of 12-0-0.
