The provisions of this legislation may cost some cities and counties additional funding for planning and interlocal coordination services. The actual costs will be determined by the local governing bodies and will be dependent on the size, locations and current resources of the local entities involved. It is estimated that costs to local government entities will not be evenly distributed.
