Passage of this bill will result in an employer contribution rate increase of 5.42 percent in the Public Safety Contributory System and 5.43 percent in the Public Safety Noncontributory System. These rate adjustments will require an increase in funding of $3,415,700 from the sources listed below. Rate increases from 3.41 percent to 7.70 percent will be required by local governments.
