HB0265 - Electric Cooperative Regulatory Fees

State Impact:
The provisions of this bill will reduce the maximum fee for electrical cooperative's by 50 percent. For the immediate future this will reduce revenue to the Public Utility Regulatory Fee by approximately $109,400. Revenue to the Commerce Service Fund affects the amount available for transfer to the General Fund.

Individual and Business Impact:
Qualified electric cooperatives will receive a fee reduction ranging from $700 to over $51,000 per year depending on the gross revenue of the organization.
