SB0059 - Purchasing from People with Disabilities Amendments
State Impact:
Passage of this bill could increase costs of procurements by state and local governments over time. The cost of services provided by the state to the disabled may be reduced. Amounts will depend on decisions of the advisory board and the level of goods and services provided by community rehabilitation programs.
An appropriation of $1,400 from the General Fund will be needed for administration, per diem and travel costs of the new board.
