State Impact:
Withdrawing from the Compact for Education will result in some cost savings to the Utah State Office of Education. This cost savings is associated with $60,200 in annual fees paid to the Education Commission of the States. There is also an indeterminant amount of savings associated with per diem and travel expenses associated with meeting and conference attendance.
