SB0029 - State Highway System Modifications

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Provisions of this bill reduce highways maintained by the Department of Transportation by approximately 15 lane miles. Based on average highway maintenance costs throughout the state, UDOT would realize a savings of $123,200 annually from the Transportation Funds. UDOT indicates that they will apply those savings to backlogged maintenance needs on other state highways.
