State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not materially impact the state budget.
Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill will generate and estimated $540,000 in additional revenue to counties beginning in FY 2014.
Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Approximately 12,000 marriage license applicants who do not complete defined marriage education and counseling requirements will pay $45 more per marriage license for a total estimated cost of $540,000.
