Agency: University of Utah Line Item: Utah Tele-Health Network Function The Utah Telehealth Network's purpose is to help reduce health costs and increase health care quality and access, including assisting rural health care providers with access to or development of electronic medical records. Statutory Authority The following statute applies to the Utah Telehealth Network in addition to the laws previously mentioned in Chapter II: - UCA 26-9f-104 - Outlines the duties of the Utah Technology Commission and includes an annual appropriation of $500,000 for the Utah Telehealth Network.
