FY 2016 Appropriation

The Utah Tuition Assistance Program started in 1998. Originally it was a matching endowment program to provide need-based scholarships. The 2007 Legislature modified the rules changing it to a need-based grant program. This program was eliminated in the 2012 General Session with the passage of H.B. 285, "Repeal of Higher Education Tuition Assistance Program."
