FY 2016 Appropriation

The External Relations program consists of the deputy director and a public information officer. Emphasis is placed on building relationships with and communicating the work contribution and mission of the agency with congressional and legislative leaders; local, state and federal land management agencies; public schools and other beneficiaries; business partners; rural communities; and the public at large.

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $259,000 from all sources for External Relations. This is a 3.6 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources.
