Joel,

Gun control is often the worst type of legislation that's based on the worst kind of logic.

I am very disappointed that the Supreme Court dropped a gun control case. Initially, New York passed a law prohibiting people from carrying guns from one location to another, other than a gun range. You couldn't even take your gun to your second home under this law. This law was challenged and the Supreme Court agreed to hear it. But before they could New York changed that law so the court chose not to decide on this case. This was the perfect opportunity for the current Supreme Court to clarify our 2nd Amendment rights but they chose not to.

Does New York honestly believe that drug dealers and criminals would follow this law in the first place?
“Laws are for the law abiding. It's already against the law to shoot somebody, and yet people break that one all the of the time. We don't need to continually add more and more gun restrictions. The only people gun control effects are law-abiding. You're making it harder and harder for the average American to protect themselves.” -Jay "JayMac" Mcfarland
