"Sense of Place"
April 16, 2014 | 7:00 pm
North Valley High School Auditorium
1470 East Golden Valley Road, Reno.

RDT dancers wrap up a busy 2013 - 2014 touring schedule later this month with a three-day residency in Reno, Nevada, April 14th - 16th. Presented in collaboration with the Sierra Arts Foundation of Reno, the residency will include a full spate of school, university (UNR) and community activities including master classes, movement workshops and lecture demonstrations.

During the 2013 - 2014 Season, RDT has offered multiple residencies in Montana, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, California (Los Angeles) and Nevada (Las Vegas and Reno). Closer to home, RDT was in residence at Southern Utah University in Cedar City ("Merce Cunningham and the Avant Garde"), as well as collaborating just last week with the Holladay Arts Council and Olympus High School in choreographic workshops and a public performance that featured Olympus High student dancers performing on-stage with RDT.

We gratefully acknowledge these entities for their generous support of RDT's development of modern dance as an art form - to create, perform, preserve and inspire. Artistic, production and publicity support for RDT's 2013-2014 legendary season is provided by:

George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Foundation
Emma Eccles Jones Foundation
National Endowment for the Arts & the Utah Division of Arts & Museums
Salt Lake City Arts Council

And a special thank you to the citizens of Salt Lake County for recognizing the importance of tax base funded Zoo, Arts & Parks Program that improves the health of communities and community members through arts, recreation and lifelong learning experiences.
