Hispanic Owned Business is the fastest growing segment with in the economy here in Utah and Nationwide.
That is one of the reasons why the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will hold (for the first time ever) it's National Convention in Salt Lake (Sept 21-22).
Don Salazar from Ogden (recognized this year at the Weber County Lincoln Day Dinner) is the first ever USHCC board member from Utah and is the 2014 National Convention Board Chair. This is will be an excellent conference.
As President Reagan use to say "Hispanics are Republicans the just don't realize it yet"
Not only do most Hispanics support the right to life, traditional marriage, school choice etc. but also believe in self sufficiency and entrepreneurship. They do not want more government bureaucracy and more taxes.
We do not agree on all issue, but then again I don't agree with myself 100% of the time and even amongst our friends within our Party we also have differences, so let's find the many areas we have in common instead of the few we may differ and like President Reagan did, let's make our Party once again a "Big Tent" Party
I love what Senator Mike Lee said at last month's CPAC:
"It’s time for the Republican Party to stop talking about Ronald Reagan and start acting like him".
