|Delaware Adopts the Network of Care Program Statewide
The State of Delaware is the latest to deploy the Network of Care for Addiction and Mental Health Services. This extremely effective program serves to reach out to those with behavioral-health issues in a way that improves the chances of early intervention, prevention and wellness.
The award-winning Network of Care program is provided in partnership with the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors and the National Association of County Behavioral Health & Developmental Disability Directors. It is a creative use of Internet technology that is locally customized.
The Network of Care provides continuously updated content on all services, regardless of how they are funded, along with a wide variety of additional information critical to individuals, families and case managers. These include: support; networking; Personal Health Records; Nationwide News; online recovery programs; a huge state-of-the-art Library; advocacy information, and much more.
“Delaware’s Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health welcomes the Network of Care as a valuable new mental-health resource for the community,” according to a statement issued by DSAMH. “Network of Care will provide quick and easy access to treatment resources and information for individuals seeking mental-health resources in Delaware. It is truly a welcomed addition.”
The Delaware Network of Care is available now, and a formal launch of the program will take place after the first of the year.
