At the AAPC Conference (Pollie Awards) in April of 2012 I attended a discussion featuring panelists from companies offering the best in political technology. There were five presenters; three were democrat and two were non-partisan.
One week later, we started building a new data platform for Republican campaigns and causes. We released VoterTrove in September of 2012 and have been working ever since building new features and enhancements based on client feedback.
Less than two years later, our little startup has received the Excellence Award for Best New Technology at the 2014 AAPC Conference. The award is the highest distinction offered to any technology company by the American Association of Political Consultants. We are honored to be the first Republican technology company to receive this award. Past winners include NGP-VAN and Catalist, two companies that helped catapult the Democrats ahead on digital and data.
Winning is nice. What makes it better is knowing that we received this award in no small part due to the testimonials given to AAPC by our clients.
Technology startups are a lot like elected officials. If you don't listen to your clients/constituents, you won't be around very long, but if you really listen, you can achieve great things.
We'd like to thank the AAPC and our awesome clients for this award.
Not a client? Well… what are you waiting for? Join the Republican campaigns around the country using VoterTrove to build data and win votes.
