Subject: HB 407-S2
Date: Fri Mar 06 18:23:22 MST 2015
I am a resident of Kane County and having lived mostly in Texas, I have been so impressed with the beauty of this area, that I moved here over 5 years ago.  It is amazing and unspoiled.  However, I am very upset with HB 407-S2 which aims to make it impossible for local jurisdictions to control billboards along their scenic byways.  The number and density of billboards throughout Texas along almost every roadway is just disgusting.  It completely takes away from the beauty that should be there to be enjoyed.

I urge you to reject this bill and respect the local jurisdiction control of their scenic byways.  Even with the changes to the bill, the timing requirement will be too burdensome on local boards and it was designed to make it impossible for them to control a flood of billboard applications they may receive.

Thank you for your time considering my email.
