Subject: HB193: SB38: S.B. 38 -- School Funding Amendments (Sen. Stephenson, H.) and H.B. 193
Date: Mon Feb 29 02:54:32 MST 2016
what are you all thinking. . .  you are taking funds away from the public schools to fund charter schools. . . . I am total opposed you using my tax dollars to fund charter schools. .  charter schools received plenty of funds per child through the state.  If the charter schools cannot fund them selves, they need to start fund raising.
You are now cutting all the special needs and special programs the public schools offer children which should be offer to all children.  No matter how much funding you put into charter schools, this will not be accomplished.
Plus -- charter school teachers are not certified, so you are taking funds from the certified public school teachers to fund non certified charter school teachers. . . . . has anyone of you attended a public school class or participated in playground duty. . . .  open your eyes and put the funding back into public schools.  I no longer want to fund your agendas. . . .  or remove your selves from the legislature and let someone who is interested in funding our future allocate the funds.
