Dear Utah Representatives,

I'm writing you because I understand that the legislature is considering overriding Governor Herbert's veto for funding the K-3 Early Intervention Reading Program and I support this decision. Our children's literacy is critical to our success as a community and if young students don't have the programs necessary for them to become proficient while they are young it makes their schooling, and lives, much more difficult.

I appreciate the legislature's interest in continuing the K-3 Early Intervention Reading program by overriding Governor Herbert's veto and helping Utah's education for young children to be the best possible.

Best regards,
