Subject: Vote Yes on SB 104
Date: Thu Feb 26 12:25:51 MST 2015

Dear Representatives,

Please vote YES on SB 104, for partisan school board elections, and NO on HB 305HJR 16HB 297HB 342, and HB 186.

The current system for electing state school board members is broken. Currently, school board candidates are chosen by the Governor. This has resulted in bad education policy including Common Core, SAGE testing, and massive student data mining. SB 104 will return accountability to We the People of Utah, by having our state school board candidates elected in the same way that candidates for state Senator, state Representative, Attorney General, etc., are elected. SB 104 is the only solution that puts power back in the hands of the people.

Thank you,

Rachel Thacker
