Please pass SB81 out of committee. Parents need to have the right, and need protection of their rights, to have input and the ability to be involved in our children's education. All parents should have the right, if they choose, to review all things pertaining to their child's education. Parents have the Constitutionally-protected right and duty to exercise primary control over the care, supervision, upbringing, and education of their children (Utah Code
Utah Code Section 62A-4a-201).
· The state's role is secondary and supportive to the primary role of a parent" (Utah Code Section 62A-4a-201).
