Subject: Please oppose HB 96

Dear Legislators,

As a concerned parent, I urge you to oppose HB 96.  Regulated preschool has already been tried with HeadStart, and it failed.  Please don't send us down this costly path.  Our children do just fine when they are taught at their level and at their speed.  We should not be so eager to throw them into the "system" that, overall, is failing our kids.

We have so many bright/intelligent kids, concerned/involved parents, and brilliant educators in this state that I would think we could come up with our own education plan that excels above the rest of the nation.  Please believe in the parents to make the best decisions for their kids, and the ideas of concerned educators to improve our education system.

Thank you!
Michele Manning
