Hello NCSL transportation listserv,

The January issue of NCSL's transportation newsletter, Transport Report, is now available.

As usual, this month’s issue has the latest on state and federal transportation policy, news and trends. Here are just a few of the questions you’ll find answers to:

·       What does the new federal budget mean for transportation? Bonus: NCSL offers a complete budget analysis here, and another overview here.

·        How can I be involved with NCSL’s work on MAP-21 reauthorization? Find out how to join NCSL’s new MAP-21 working group for legislators and legislative staff.

·        What’s going on with transportation policy at the federal level? Learn about federal transportation funding ideas, REAL ID implementation and more.

·        What was transportation like in 1975? Because we like a good ‘70s flashback—in honor of NCSL’s 40th year—as much as the next guy.

·         Where can I get more in-depth information about state and federal transportation policy? From Web briefs and meetings, to articles and blogs, NCSL has a wealth of resources for you.

Archived issues of the newsletter are also available online. As always, please contact us if you have any questions!

Warm regards,
