Subject: Support for bills HBO207 and HBO 324
Date: Tue Feb 18 21:23:06 MST 2014
Dear Representatives,
I am writing in support of HBO324 and HBO207. I am asking you to vote in favor of these bills.
I am a licensed Cosmetologist. I love my job and the ability to make a difference in so many peoples lives by changing how they feel about their appearances. I work many hours doing what I love. I have an active license that I am so proud to have.
I am also, an instructor for We Do feet Seminars teaching footzoning and its technique. I have been teaching for over 5 years and love to see the results of what happens when the body is simply in balance. I also see peoples lives changing because of the footzoning they received to balance their energy in their bodies.
At We Do Feet Seminars, we have extensive hours for training the details of the signals of the body in a whole. We access the signals by manipulating the signals on the feet. It is very different then massage and should be treated differently. In Massage Therapy training, they do not cover the detail that we do. They are focusing on the muscles and the tissues. Footzoning, is very different. Therefore having the regulation on it the same as massage would never work. I am a instructor that takes great pride in what is taught.
I am hoping that you can see that the support on these bills are very important. I hope I can count on your vote in favor of excluding Footzoning from the Massage regulations.
