Hi Mike,

Are you familiar with the efforts the group Count My Vote has undertaken to buy Utah’s elections? They are trying to make Utah’s Caucus-Convention System obsolete. The Caucus-Convention System has been in use for more than 100 years in Utah and has led to Utah being ranked as one of the best managed states in America. States like California stopped using a Caucus-Convention System and now they are drowning in debt and corruption.

If Count My Vote gets their way only the rich will be able to compete for office. It destroys grassroots influence and creates a huge disadvantage for women, minorities, and those who are not wealthy from having a voice in Utah’s governance.

Keep My Voice is a non-profit organization created by Utahns to preserve our local elections process. We are running the Freedom of Association ballot initiative and could really use your help to gather signatures. We have until April 16th to gather 114,000 signatures. Due to the short time frame, we’re hiring full and part-time signature-gathering positions. Pay is approximately $30/hour.

This is a great way to make some money and help our communities. Would you or anyone you know be willing to help us preserve Utah’s neighborhood caucuses? (must be 18 or over and a resident of Utah)

If you’d like to volunteer or join our signature gathering team, please click HERE to sign up. You can also make a donation HERE. Learn more at keepmyvoice.org

Warm Regards,
