Dear Representative,

I appreciate your willingness to hear the voice of the people whom you represent. It is with great concern and urgency that on behalf of the many parents, neighbors, and families with whom we have discussed this topic, that we ask you to VOTE YES on First Substitute HB-81.

This collaboration is a positive step toward supporting parent rights (through expanding the parental review committee for Common Core test questions). In addition, it improves the transparency in that it allows a report to be generated on USOE website showing the flagged items, something that currently is not in place. Furthermore, the integrity of the test is preserved by allowing all of the reviews and activities to be kept within the USOE security processes.

This is a crucial bill that will have positive impact for the educational system, and our children.

I again, with great concern, urge you to act in the best interest of Utah and its people and  VOTE YES on First Substitute HB-81.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
