Dear Representative,
I strongly support HB 342. We really need to get away from federal standards and create our own state-based program. I, as a parent, want more say in what my children are being taught. It is my duty to hold the education system accoutable, not the federal governments.
Canada is currently top of the world right now in education. Let's adopt some of their strategy and drop this Common Core nonsence.
