I am writing to ask you to pass HB 342 by Rep. Dana Layton. This bill will allow Utah to create its own high quality standards.  I feel that it is in the best interest of our kids to be able to have control of their education on a local level where we can make adjustments according to the needs of our communities and children and not to special interest groups that have used Federal bribery through Race to the Top to get us into Common Core.
