Dear Representative,

Please vote NO for this bill, reasons I oppose this bill can be found at Obama’s Whitehouse Website http://www.whitehouse.gov/issues/education/early-childhood

I’m also opposed to:

Data gathering of our preschoolers,

Using our preschool children as “investment” opportunities,

Obama’s plans for Universal Preschool

I totally understand why a Democrat would support this bill, not clear on how a Republican could support this bill. Please use our education dollars wisely and don’t throw it into a program that has already been proven to fail (ie Head Start). Why not provide online reading programs for parents with 1^st and 2^nd graders? It would cost less money and be more effective, instead of throwing money into a model that has been proven  to fail.   

Please vote nay on HB96.
