To all involved,

I strongly support HB 37.  What has happened in the State of Utah is a shame.  I agree that land owners need to be protected but not at the expense of ALL citizens access to one of our most precious resources.  I have enjoyed the rivers and streams in this state from north to south all over this state.  What a shame it is that I cannot spend time with my kids showing them the same wonders that I grew up with.  The access to streams and wildlife has been a tradition in this state since we became a state.  Montana and Idaho should be shining examples of how the balance of private land ownership and access to the public can coexist.

I strongly urge you to get this out of rules and into a subcomittee asap.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on the steps of the State Capital next Tuesday.

Scott
