Last-minute shopping? Keep it Made in the USA!

Dear Friend:

On behalf of all of us at the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM), happy holidays!

But I can’t kick back with the eggnog just yet; I’ve got some last-minute holiday shopping to do. And I’m doing my best to keep my gifts American-made.

Are you still shopping too? If so, I suggest trying to keep it Made in the USA. It’s easier than you think. Check out AAM’s American-made holiday gift guide. Click on the video below to pick up a few gift-giving tips. And if you need a few more ideas, take a look at the opinion I co-wrote last week with advertising guru Alex Bogusky, adviser to the Made Movement. You’ll be surprised at how many options are available, and how easy it is to support American makers.

Again, happy holidays! We’ll see you in 2014.

The Alliance for American Manufacturing has detailed policy proposals aimed at rebuilding America's middle class. With the right mix of policies, our collection of authors argues, the manufacturing sector can again provide the wealth and growth opportunities needed to keep the American dream alive.
