I would like to voice my extreme displeasure with HB20, and strongly encourage you to vote against its implementation.  It passed the senate with a very narrow margin, and is not a good piece of legislation.  There is already broad protection for our emergency personnel in pursuit, and this bill goes entirely too far towards total exemption with the "no duty to care".  Wow, really?  NO duty to care?  That is ridiculous for public servants, and ripe for abuse.
Please vote against this bill.  Enacting a law simply as a knee jerk reaction to a few lawsuits being filed is not good use of your time, and usually creates poor legislation.  This bill is a case in point.
