Democrats and R epublicans,
I am 25 years old and I have been smoking tobacco cigarettes for 8 years. I finally quit tobacco cigarettes in March of last year, so coming up on a year.
Since then I have been smoking a electronic cigarette, with great success. I started at 24mg of nicotine and slowly lowered myself to 6mg within that year. I am getting ready to switch to 0mg and in doing so I will be completely off nicotine and can quit.
I would of never thought I would be able to get down off nicotine that much. I can't even tell you how much better I feel since I switched almost a year ago. This has been the best cigarette quit aid I have ever tried.
One thing people don't know about the tobacco habit is it's not just the physical addiction caused by nicotine, but we are also addicted to the motion of putting something up to our mouth and taking it away. This exact thing is where the gum and the patch lack, and that I and most people believe to be the success of the e cigarette. We can slowly wing ourselves off the nicotine by lowering the milligrams, but keeping the motion which i believe is equally addicting.
Please help stop hb 112 from going through and help all those people addicted to nicotine have a fighting chance to stop this horrible habit and have a chance to use this method that I and other people have used to finally free ourselves from tobacco cigarettes.
