Dear Dean,

Recently you received a copy of the CSG's Nov/Dec e-newsletter and I hope you had time to read the lead article entitled "A Great Tragedy in American Politics", which addresses how the lack of civil dialogue is undermining public confidence in government. The article announced that, to address this problem, the National Institute of Civil Discourse has joined with the Council of State Governments to bring an exciting and interactive workshop to state legislatures entitled "Building Trust through Civil Discourse". We hope you will take 2 minutes to view a very brief video  about the workshop to determine whether it would be helpful in .

As a former State Representative from Ohio, I worked with a number of colleagues to develop this program, and legislators from around the country have now joined in this national effort to bring civil discourse to our respective state legislatures. Should this spark some interest for you, please contact us and we will provide you with the information and tools necessary to proceed.

If you wish additional information quickly, please feel free to email me at or call me - my cell is (614) 679-7722.

Best wishes for the holidays.
