As a Utah parent, I have many issues with this bill, but the main ones are: 1) the enormous and continued cost to taxpayers with little evidence to support any claim to educational benefit and 2) the impact on privacy rights of students.
The main beneficiaries of this bill are the providers of the technology and content, not the students, and I do trust them to respect the concerns of parents.
