Subject: Please do not pass HB 131 out of committee
Date: Thu Feb 20 17:00:13 MST 2014
Dear Committee Members,
Please do not pass HB 131 out of committee. This is a radical, technology for technology's sake, type of bill that would cost Utah far more than Utah has to spend without any demonstrative proof that the technology would benefit students. The built in data tracking is also a major concern as well as the lack of competition for our money. This bill is irresponsible, fiscally outrageous, and demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of what helps students. I urge you to choose proven methodology over haphazard bandwagoning.
Thank you for your time,
