I believe this will further narrow the choice of common core aligned curriculum in digital format. I have a 4" folder of research uncovering for myself what is under the ice berg of Common Core. This will only line the pockets of these publishing companies...many of them owned by Bill Gates who has publicly said that this is an experiment and that it will take 10 yrs to see if it will work. I don't want to waste money on ipads that will be aligned to standards that weren't even written by our talented Utah teachers. By the way, I'm a talented Utah teacher. It is a shame that we allowed Common Core in our state. It is taking away the voices of our teachers and parents. I also don't agree with the sharing of data that could take place with these ipads. From a teacher point of view, I would rather have a film up front in class that I could control. With class sizes so large, having each child with and ipad would be a nightmare.
