Subject: What Does a Name Actually Mean – “Mayors Against Illegal Guns”?
Date: Tue Aug 06 13:48:16 MDT 2013

Dear State Legislator,

More and more individuals are realizing that “Mayors Against Illegal Guns” (MAIG) is not what they signed up for and are quitting.  The political agenda of the misleadingly named national anti-gun organization founded and funded by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, is not about working against illegal guns, it is actually working to ban all guns.

We also know these things about MAIG:

Please take a moment to read the below article exposing the deception of MAIG.

Mayors misled: Anti-gun group needs a new name, an editorial in the Manchester Union Leader.

Weakened arsenal: More than 50 original mayors have quit Bloomberg’s anti-gun group, written by correspondents S.A. Miller and Geoff Earle in the New York Post.
If you have any questions regarding this or any firearm- and hunting-related issue, please contact your NRA State Liaison at State& or 703-267-1240.
