Hi Ric,

My name is Brian Heaton. I write for Government Technology magazine – I cover tech legislation and IT policy. I saw Dave Fletcher post about Utah’s “Senate Cloud” and as you can see below, I was interested in talking to someone about it. Dave recommended you.

Do you have a few minutes to talk to me about what this is, what larger strategy Dave was referring to, and the nuts and bolts about the site and its intent? I am open tomorrow (Wednesday), but if that doesn’t work, we could do something next week.

I’d likely need no more than 15 minutes or so by phone.

Please let me know.

Hi Brian

I would recommend contacting Ric Cantrell who is the Chief of Staff for the Utah Senate. He will be much better versed in the details.

He can be reached at 801-538-1407or by email.

The Senate Cloud site is part of a much larger public engagement strategy and Ric spearheads that for the Senate.

Saw your tweet on Senate Cloud. Is this new? What’s it all about? You or your team have a few minutes to give me the lowdown? Maybe tomorrow for a phone interview?

Hope all is well.
