<section number="57-8-14"><histories><history>Amended by Chapter <modchap sess="2007GS">268</modchap>, 2007 General Session</history><modyear>2007</modyear></histories><catchline>Legal description of units.</catchline><subsection number="57-8-14(1)">
A deed, lease, mortgage, or other instrument may legally describe a unit by its identifying number or symbol as designated in the declaration or as shown on the condominium plat.</subsection><subsection number="57-8-14(2)">
Each description under Subsection <xref depth="4" refid="C57-8-S14_1800010118000101" refnumber="57-8-14(1)" start="0">(1)</xref> shall be considered:
<subsection number="57-8-14(2)(a)">
to be good and sufficient for all purposes; and</subsection><subsection number="57-8-14(2)(b)">
to convey, transfer, encumber or otherwise affect the unit owner's corresponding percentage of ownership in the common or community areas and facilities even though the percentage of ownership is not expressly mentioned or described.</subsection></subsection></section>
