6 AN ACT RELATING TO STATE AFFAIRS IN GENERAL; AUTHORIZING CONCURRENT
7 JURISDICTION WITH THE UNITED STATES OVER CERTAIN PROPERTY IN TOOELE
8 COUNTY.
9 This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
10 ENACTS:
11 63-8-7, Utah Code Annotated 1953
12 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
13 Section 1. Section 63-8-7 is enacted to read:
14 63-8-7. Concurrent jurisdiction -- Utah Test and Training Range.
15 The state of Utah cedes to the United States, retaining also the same to itself, concurrent
16 jurisdiction within the following described boundaries in the county of Tooele, state of Utah, in
17 the Salt Lake Base and Meridian, to continue so long as the United States owns, holds, or reserves
18 the land for military purposes or in connection with military purposes, and no longer:
19 (1) Township 2 North, Range 15 West, all of:
20 (a) Section 16;
21 (b) Section 32;
22 (c) Section 36; and
23 (d) Section 2, Lots 1-4, S 1/2 N 1/2, S 1/2;
24 (2) Township 2 South, Range 14 West, all of:
25 (a) Section 32; and
26 (b) Section 36;
27 (3) Township 2 South, Range 15 West, all of:

1 (a) Section 36; and
2 (b) Section 32, W 1/2;
3 (4) Township 3 South, Range 15 West, all of:
4 (a) Section 16;
5 (b) Section 32;
6 (c) Section 36; and
7 (d) Section 2, Lots 1-4, S 1/2 N 1/2, S 1/2;
8 (5) Township 2 South, Range 16 West, all of:
9 (a) Section 32; and
10 (b) Section 36;
11 (6) Township 2 South, Range 17 West, all of:
12 (a) Section 32; and
13 (b) Section 36;
14 (7) Township 2 South, Range 18 West, all of Section 36;
