First Substitute H.B. 199

Representative Thomas Hatch proposes to substitute the following bill:

1 APPROPRIATION TO SPECIES PROTECTION ACCOUNT
2 1998 GENERAL SESSION
3 STATE OF UTAH
4 Sponsor: Thomas Hatch
5 AN ACT RELATING TO SPECIES PROTECTION; APPROPRIATING $900,000 FROM THE
6 GENERAL FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998-99 TO THE SPECIES PROTECTION
7 ACCOUNT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
8 This act enacts uncodified material.
9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
10 Section 1. Appropriation.
11 (1) There is appropriated $900,000 from the General Fund for fiscal year 1998-99 to the
12 Species Protection Account created in Section 63-34-14.
13 (2) It is the intent of the Legislature that this appropriation be ongoing.
14 Section 2. Effective date.
15 This act takes effect on July 1, 1998.
